What are vitamins?
Vitamins are nutrients found in food and drink. The body cannot produce all the vitamins it needs, which is why it's essential to obtain them through your diet. We distinguish between fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are best absorbed when fat or oil is also present. Additionally, our bodies can store fat-soluble vitamins to a limited extent. Water-soluble vitamins cannot be stored by the body, so you're less likely to consume too much of them. We need vitamins for good health. Read here why vitamins are a good addition to your daily diet.
