Scutellaria

Scutellaria is a plant that grows worldwide, with over 200 species of scutellaria or skullcap. The two most well-known are Scutellaria baicalensis and Scutellaria laterifolia. Scutellaria is used for its soothing properties and is especially popular during spring when trees, grasses, and plants are in bloom. Most scutellaria supplements are combined with vitamin C and zinc, both of which support the immune system.

There is no recommended daily allowance for scutellariae. When opting for a scutellariae supplement, for most supplements, one to two capsules per day are sufficient.
