ideal for extra resistance during the winter months
Without sunshine in the winter season, it's quite comforting to rely on these vitamin D capsules. Perfectly dosed, one a day is generally sufficient to get through the winter. This variant is well-absorbed because it is (as a fat-soluble vitamin) in oil. Plus, the capsules are quite small, making them easy to swallow. I personally use this vitamin mainly for maintaining strong bones (on my doctor's advice). Additionally, vitamin D has a positive impact on immunity, which is a lovely bonus.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of strong bones. It increases the absorption of calcium in the bones and contributes to normal calcium levels in the blood. Additionally, it has a positive influence on the immune system, contributes to the process of cell renewal, and plays a role in maintaining strong muscles.
Vitamin D3 increases vitamin D levels. Our vitamin D3 is dissolved in a fat matrix of extra virgin olive oil, which contributes to good absorption in the intestine.

Vitamin D3 (1000 IU) (as cholecalciferol) 25 mcg RI 500%
Ingredients (descending)
Filler (extra virgin olive oil), capsule shell (gelatine, glycerine, water), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
Take 1 capsule daily during or just after a meal. If swallowing is difficult, the capsule may be opened.

Can my children, aged 14, 12, and 7, use this vitamin D? If so, are they allowed to chew the capsules?

May I take this alongside folic acid that contains 10 µg of vitamin D?
On 20 august 2019 by Customer serviceThe safe upper limit for vitamin D is (for adults) 100 mcg per day.
A total of 35 mcg is therefore perfectly fine.

Vitamin D3 25mcg is a good maintenance dosage, but somewhat on the low side for addressing a deficiency.
