MK-7, the superior form of vitamin K2

Which multivitamin can this be combined with for athletes that you can use daily?

The Super Multi contains only vitamin K1 in a relatively low dosage, so vitamin K2 is a very good addition. Furthermore, the Super Multi includes just that little bit extra (among other things, due to the addition of the superfood and antioxidant complex) that you, as an athlete, can really benefit from.
I would like to know from which NATURAL product this MenaQ7 is derived, as I cannot find this information anywhere... Or am I overlooking it?

The MenaQ7® Crystals are produced based on a culture that contains no soy or other allergens, and also no animal-derived ingredients. It is a patented formula, which means the exact raw materials are not disclosed. If you would like to know whether a particular substance was NOT used during the production process, I could inquire with the supplier on your behalf.
How does this amount interact with an anticoagulant such as acetylsalicylic acid or clopidogrel?
On 22 january 2019 by Customer serviceInteractions are possible when using anticoagulants from the coumarin derivatives class, as these are vitamin K antagonists, and the intake of additional vitamin K will therefore reduce their effectiveness.
Concurrent use of vitamin K and acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) is generally not a problem. For use as an anticoagulant, acetylsalicylic acid is also administered at a relatively low dose (80 to 100 mg as a maintenance dose). Prolonged use of salicylates may actually increase the need for vitamin K.
Clopidogrel is also NOT a vitamin K antagonist like the coumarin derivatives. Concurrent use of a vitamin K supplement is therefore possible, unless your doctor advises against it or it is contraindicated in the package insert.
For safety, you might also consider choosing a 90 mcg variant instead of 180 mcg, as the risk of interactions is particularly present with doses higher than 100 mcg per day. For example, the Vitamin K2 90 mcg from Vitals.
Hello, I have the Vitals multivitamin that also contains 80 mcg of K2. Is it safe for me to take the 180 mcg K2 alongside it?

On 21 april 2018 by Customer serviceTwo health claims that are permitted for Vitamin K2 180 mcg relate to blood clotting and bone density. The effect on blood clotting is almost immediate after ingestion, while the influence on bone density will take a bit longer.
The speed at which a noticeable result is achieved thus depends, among other things, on the type of tissues involved in a particular condition and, for example, how long that condition has been present. In many cases, a quicker result can be achieved when vitamin K is combined with certain other supplements or therapies.
In general, precise data on how quickly one can expect results is lacking. Studies usually look at the effect after 1 month and after, for example, 3 months.
