Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a 100% natural product that can be used for food preparation. As it consists of saturated fat, it is highly resistant to heat, including frying. Coconut oil is also incorporated into some natural cosmetics, and you can use it to make your own toothpaste, for example.

Coconut oil is available in a deodorised variant and an unrefined variant, where the typical coconut scent and flavour are still strongly present. To deodorise coconut oil, it is gently heated for a while. This does not adversely affect the quality of the oil.
