The Vital 45+ multivitamin from Essential Organics Pure is specially formulated for men and women from around the age of 45. It contains calcium from, among other things, mineralised seaweed (Lithothamnion sp.), magnesium, selenium, and zinc. The plant-based (vegan) vitamin D3, in a dose of 50 mcg per daily dosage, increases calcium absorption in the bones. Vitamin C is added because it contributes to the formation of collagen, which is important for maintaining flexible blood vessels. It also contains Vitamin K2 as Menaquinone-7. Essential Organics Vital 45+ includes added vegetable and fruit extracts, which ensure good absorption in the body. Essential Organics Vital 45+ is in a plant-based capsule, made from the tapioca plant, in which natural excipients are used based on (brown) rice. So: pure and with minimal additives.

I have been using this pure vitamin for several years to my full satisfaction. It’s a good supplement for someone like me who hardly eats fruit and is also a small eater, and therefore doesn’t necessarily get all the required vitamins and minerals every day.
So
I was recommended this by you because my multivitamins specifically for women were out of stock. Excellent service, but my experience has been very poor. After taking these vitamins, one a day, I suddenly started having massive hot flashes every night, and I struggled to sleep for two weeks due to the intensity of the hot flashes, which I had never experienced before (I am indeed going through menopause). Now I have stopped for four days and the hot flashes have disappeared. I will not be taking these again.

Hello, is this product free from magnesium stearate?

Magnesium stearate is necessary for tablet production. For this reason, all products from the Essential Organics Pure line are in capsule form.
Why is there so much B12 in these supplements, is it beneficial in some way? And can it be harmful?
On 03 march 2019 by Customer serviceThere is no maximum upper limit for vitamin B12, and it is often poorly absorbed by many individuals. Furthermore, this multivitamin is formulated to be suitable for vegans, who may require additional B12.
500 mcg can be considered an average dose: not low, but also not excessively high. Standalone B12 supplements typically provide 1000 mcg per daily dose, and some individuals even use 1500 mcg per day. No side effects have been observed at doses of 500 mcg per day. Any excess that the body does not need is easily excreted.
For B12, it is better to take a bit more than your body requires rather than too little. Small excesses can be excreted, but a deficiency cannot be conjured out of thin air. And deficiencies in B12 can be extremely harmful, particularly to the nervous system.
in your description it states that it is specifically for women. However, there is nothing about this on the packaging. I purchased it from you yesterday, under the impression that it was a multi for both men and women..

The formula does resemble multivitamins for women going through menopause, partly due to the presence of vitamin K2 and the "45" in the product name. The amount of iron (20 mg per daily dosage) is also relatively high for men, although this dosage is advisable for endurance sports and/or veganism.
That is the reason we were initially under the impression that it was a multi for women. However, it turned out that this was not the case. Apologies for the confusion.
