Quatrefolic, co-enzymatic folic acid

Quatrefolic:

Quatrefolic is the trade name for 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), a form of folic acid (folate) that is excellently absorbed and can be used directly by the body. Quatrefolic is available as a standalone supplement and is also included in various multivitamins.

In addition to Quatrefolic, Metafolin is also available (calcium-L-methylfolate), which is likewise a co-enzymatic form of folic acid.
