Folate is beneficial for learning performance and a good mental balance. It also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. Homocysteine is a toxic metabolic product in high concentrations, also known as the 'new cholesterol'.
The supportive vitamin B12 in this formula consists solely of the active forms methyl- and adenosylcobalamin. Vitamin B12 contributes to a normal energy-yielding metabolism before, during, and after the months of pregnancy.
