Every Day Mum Tablets is a carefully designed multi for women who are planning a pregnancy, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. This is naturally a special and important period where the health of the (expectant) mother, but of course also the child, must be optimally supported.

Every Day Mum contains the most important nutrients in the right proportion and in dosages according to the latest insights. Only well-absorbable compounds have been chosen.

What's new?
Advancing insights have led to a further improvement of the formula. Due to the significantly higher bioavailability of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) compared to 'regular' (synthetic) folic acid, a reduction from 600 to 400 mcg is possible. Some other ingredients have also been reviewed and adjusted downwards where possible (notably the B vitamins), while still achieving ample dosages. This has created space for the increase of other important nutrients (especially for pregnant women), such as choline, vitamin C, vitamin K2, calcium, and magnesium. Moreover, vitamin K1 has also been added to support the blood clotting function.

Vitamin A should not be missing in a pregnancy multi
Many pregnant women are warned about the dangers of too much vitamin A. But the need for vitamin A is indeed higher during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is therefore important not to be too cautious with the intake of vitamin A. Every Day Mum therefore contains, in addition to 3 mg of natural beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A), also 150 mcg of vitamin A. This is a desirable and very safe dosage of vitamin A. The body will not convert more beta-carotene into vitamin A than it needs and will therefore not lead to too high a vitamin A level.

Optimal dosages to meet increased needs during pregnancy
Women are advised to take extra folic acid at least a month before conception and during pregnancy. Every Day Mum uses a superior, biologically active form of folic acid (folate) bound to glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®). The binding with glucosamine salt allows the biologically active form to remain stable and ensures optimal absorption. This multi contains 400 mcg of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate per tablet.

Every Day Mum contains a generous dosage of 30 mcg of vitamin B12 in the biologically active forms of methyl- and adenosylcobalamin. The advantage of these body-identical forms is that they are better absorbed and remain available in the body longer than the usual, synthetic form of vitamin B12 in supplements (cyanocobalamin). A very important nutrient during pregnancy is choline. Very recent studies have been conducted, making more and more known about it. The formula contains no less than 150 mg of choline per tablet.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need more vitamin D. Every Day Mum therefore contains a generous dosage of 25 mcg of vitamin D3. Moreover, this is of plant origin and therefore suitable for vegans.

Women generally need more iron than men. During pregnancy, women need even more iron to support the production of cells and tissues. Every Day Mum therefore contains a generous daily dosage of 28 mg of iron from the stomach-friendly iron bisglycinate (Ferrochel®), which is a well-absorbable amino acid chelate from Albion (TRAACS®). Moreover, the formula now contains no less than 200 mg of vitamin C, which, among other things, is beneficial for the absorption of iron.

It also contains sufficient iodine (150 mcg) that contributes to the normal growth of children.
