I'm still in the trial period. The skin, hair and nails pills work great, so I expect the same from this one too.
Delivery via Vitaminstore is quick and it is packaged with good protection so that the bottles do not break. I find Solgar to be a great brand because they perform extensive checks on their products, the products contain no allergens, are suitable for vegetarians, and are made without gluten and dairy (which I personally try to avoid as much as possible). Furthermore, Folate, in my opinion, is the better option than Folic Acid if you are trying to conceive (or already are). It is the natural form of Folic Acid and can be absorbed better by many people than Folic Acid. 1000 micrograms per day is associated with fewer neurological defects in (unborn) babies, and who wouldn’t want that? ;) I am certainly satisfied with it!

Good morning, I take this product in combination with the Solgar Super cod liver oil complex instead of the folate 400. Is this sufficient for your pregnancy to nourish your body rather than just folic acid? Or should I add another supplement? Or is it better to take only folic acid with a pregnancy multi?

Especially as the pregnancy progresses, the need for nutrients such as iron and iodine increases significantly. A special pregnancy multi, such as the Prenatal (2-per-day) or the Elke Dag Mama (one-per-day), is therefore certainly recommended. It is better to have a bit more of each nutrient than you need than too little.
The Super Cod Liver Oil provides slightly more vitamin A (906 mcg) than recommended by the Health Council (800 mcg). This is not necessarily dangerous, but pregnancy multis generally provide a maximum of 800 mcg per daily dose.
Instead of the Super Cod Liver Oil, you could also use the Triple Strength Omega-3 in combination with a pregnancy multi that provides sufficient vitamin A and D.

A dosage between 2000 and 5000 mcg should be more than sufficient, preferably in combination with a good pregnancy multivitamin to ensure you also get enough of all the other vitamins and minerals. Most pregnancy multivitamins provide between 400 and 800 mcg of folic acid per daily dosage.
