Every Day Senior is a carefully designed multi especially for those over 50. As we age, our bodies have different nutritional needs. For instance, the need for iron and copper decreases. Therefore, Every Day Senior contains no iron and copper.

What men and women of this age do need is extra vitamin B12 and sufficient folic acid (folate) to support mental functions such as memory. This multi contains 150 mcg of vitamin B12 in the biologically active forms of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin (also known as dibencozide), as well as 400 mcg of active folate. This multi uses the superior form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate bound to glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®). The binding with glucosamine salt allows the biologically active form to remain stable and ensures optimal absorption. The advantage of these active forms of B12 and folate is that they can be used directly by the body and do not need to be converted first.

Vitamin K2 plays a role in maintaining strong bones and is important for this age group. Every Day Senior contains no less than 40 mcg of vitamin K2, which is more effective than vitamin K1. Vitamin D is also important for bones. However, vitamin D has a much broader scope and also has a beneficial effect on, among other things, resistance, muscle function, and normal cell division. Given the great importance and many beneficial properties of vitamin D, one tablet contains a high dosage of 25 mcg of vitamin D3.

Every Day Senior also contains vitamin A, vitamin B2, and zinc, which help maintain sharp vision. Additionally, this multi includes several other special nutrients, such as silicon, boron, lutein, zeaxanthin, co-enzyme Q10, alpha-lipoic acid, and pterostilbene. Silicon and boron are two minerals that naturally occur mainly in plant foods. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two plant carotenoids that give certain vegetables and fruits, like peppers, their colour.

Co-enzyme Q10 and alpha-lipoic acid are two molecules found in the mitochondria of every cell in the body. Pure pterostilbene (pTeroPure®) is structurally related to resveratrol and has similar properties but offers various advantages. Pterostilbene is also known as the new generation of resveratrol due to its much better bioavailability.

Every Day Senior is specially made for men and women over 50 years old and is also available in capsule form (two per day).
