Every Day Mama Capsules (two-per-day)

Every Day Mama Capsules are designed for women who prefer capsules over tablets. Every Day Mama Capsules contain exactly the same dosages per two capsules as the product Every Day Mama Tablets, except for choline (110 mg instead of 150 mg), vitamin C (80 mg instead of 200 mg), calcium (120 mg instead of 200 mg), and magnesium (60 mg instead of 100 mg). These are dosed lower in the capsules, simply because more can fit in a tablet than in two capsules.

Ongoing insights have led to a further improvement of the formula. Due to the significantly higher bioavailability of 5-yltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) compared to 'regular' (synthetic) folic acid, a reduction from 600 to 400 mcg is possible. Some other ingredients have also been reviewed and adjusted downwards where possible (especially the B vitamins), while still achieving generous dosages. This has freed up space for increasing other important nutrients (especially for pregnant women), such as choline, vitamin C, vitamin K2, calcium, and magnesium. Additionally, vitamin K1 has been added to support the blood clotting function.

Vitamin A must not be missing in a pregnancy multi
Many pregnant women are warned about the dangers of too much vitamin A. However, the need for vitamin A is higher during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, it is important not to be too cautious with vitamin A intake. Every Day Mama contains, in addition to 3 mg of natural beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A), 150 mcg of vitamin A. This is a desirable and very safe dosage of vitamin A. The body will not convert more beta-carotene into vitamin A than it needs and will not lead to an excessively high vitamin A level.

Optimal dosages to meet increased needs during pregnancy
Women are advised to take extra folic acid at least one month before conception and during pregnancy. Every Day Mama uses a superior, biologically active form of folic acid (folate) bound to glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®). The binding with glucosamine salt makes it possible to keep the biologically active form stable and ensures optimal absorbability. The formula contains 400 mcg of 5-yltetrahydrofolate per daily dosage of two capsules.

Every Day Mama contains a generous dosage of 30 mcg vitamin B12 in the biologically active forms of yl- and adenosylcobalamin. The advantage of these body-identical forms is that they are better absorbed and remain available in the body longer than the usual synthetic form of vitamin B12 in supplements (cyanocobalamin). A very important nutrient during pregnancy is choline. There are very recent studies that have increased our knowledge about this. The formula contains no less than 110 mg of choline per 2 capsules.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need more vitamin D. Every Day Mama therefore contains a generous dosage of 25 mcg of vitamin D3. Moreover, it is of plant origin and therefore suitable for vegans.

Women generally need more iron than men. During pregnancy, women need even more iron to support the production of cells and tissues. Every Day Mama contains a generous daily dosage of 28 mg of iron from stomach-friendly iron bisglycinate (Ferrochel®), which is a well-absorbed amino acid chelate from Albion (TRAACS®). Furthermore, the formula now contains no less than 200 mg of vitamin C, which is beneficial for iron absorption.
