At present, I am using sweetbunny hair vitamins. I am very satisfied with this product. However, a blood test revealed that my vitamin B6 levels are too high, which can lead to nerve disorders and other issues. This may be due to pyridoxine hydrochloride. I was advised to stop taking the supplements. Now, my dietitian recommends using your vitamins. But does this substance not appear in your products? Kind regards, Riet.

Can I use skin, nails and hair while also taking iron tablets?
On 08 april 2025 by Customer serviceYes, you can combine the Skin, Nails & Hair supplement with iron tablets. This supplement does not contain high doses of iron or other ingredients that adversely affect iron absorption. However, it is wise not to take them at exactly the same time. Iron is best absorbed on an empty stomach and may be less well absorbed when taken with certain minerals such as calcium or zinc. Keeping a few hours between both supplements is sufficient.
On 10 april 2018 by Customer serviceYou would be better off combining the Skin, Nails and Hair Formula (2 per day) with Solgar's Female Multiple (3 per day for at least a month). At that dosage, the Female Multiple provides, among other things, 400 mg of calcium and 400 mg of magnesium, two minerals that significantly influence the normal functioning of the muscles. The Female Multiple also provides 300 mcg of biotin, 18 mg of iron, and 150 mcg of iodine, all of which are very important nutrients for hair growth.
After using the Female Multiple for one to two months, you might consider switching to Solgar's VM-Prime For Women. This formula is similar in many respects to the Female Multiple but does not contain iron. For women in or after menopause, the VM-Prime For Women is somewhat better suited, but since you are experiencing hair loss, it is advisable to continue with the Female Multiple first, alongside the Skin, Nails and Hair Formula.
