Solgar's Omega-3 Double Strength positively affects the heart. EPA and DHA are essential building blocks for the brain, play a role in brain function, and are good for vision. This intended effect can be achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA (including diet) or 450 mg (for pregnant women and during breastfeeding).
Provides 360 mg of EPA and 240 mg of DHA per capsule.
Solgar also offers Omega-3 Triple Strength (504 mg EPA and 378 mg DHA) and Super Cod Liver Oil Complex (202 mg EPA and 185 mg DHA plus vitamins A and D).

Are the capsules suitable for vegetarians?

Hello! I've picked up the omega 3 softgels today. This is the first time I'm going to take them. I'm 29 years old and I take several vitamins like magnesium and vitamin D (for sleeping). How many of these omega 3 pills would be sufficient per day for me? Would it be alright if I just take one with my evening meal, for example, or is that too little?
