Ingredients
vegetable capsule (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), L-lysine, L-leucine, L-phenylalanine, L-valine, L-methionine, L-histidine, L-isoleucine, L-threonine, bulking agents (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose), anti-caking agent (vegetable magnesium stearate).
As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) capsule daily, preferably between meals, with water or juice. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

I'm curious why Solgar decided not to include L-Carnitine? In my opinion, it's quite an essential amino acid when you're on a strict diet.

My sister has a significant protein deficiency due to food intolerance. Can she use this amino acid complex from Solgar to increase her protein intake?

Some amino acid supplements may contain ingredients that might not be well tolerated. It is advisable to check the composition and possibly consult a doctor or dietitian for appropriate advice.
Are you allowed to break open these capsules and dissolve the powder in lemonade or similar?

On 06 april 2018 by Customer serviceOn 27 march 2018 by Customer serviceSupplements based on L-tryptophan can be beneficial, but mainly when taken on an empty stomach, without other amino acids present. Furthermore, it should be in a significant dosage, for instance, 400 mg at once. Consuming only 75 mg of L-tryptophan (a negligible amount for this amino acid) alongside several other amino acids would not be very effective.
The choice of 8 instead of 9 amino acids is for a very pragmatic reason: 8 x 75 mg = 600 mg. More than that cannot fit into a single capsule.
A good L-tryptophan supplement is the L-Tryptophan 400 mg from Vitals. There is no L-tryptophan available from Solgar in the Netherlands.
