I’ve noticed that, after reading the ingredients list, Vitamin Store listens carefully to new research and sources. A small example is vitamin B12, which is the methylcobalamin version. This is methylated and better absorbed. Plus, it’s not the cheaper cyanocobalamin version. That’s one example—there are many more.

I notice that there is no potassium in Super Multi and Mega Multi. Why is this?

Dear, at the moment I am taking Omega D3, Biotin and K2, and I have only been on this combination for a short time (2 weeks). Prior to this, I did not use any vitamin supplements. Looking to the future, would it be wiser to switch to a multivitamin once I have finished my current vitamin pills? P.S. I am 39 years old and female. Best regards,

So, if you simply want to support a healthy daily diet with a little extra, a multivitamin may be sufficient. However, if you have deficiencies or specific reasons to take more of the mentioned nutrients, a separate supplement with a higher dosage might be advisable. Additionally, there is no fish oil in a multivitamin, so it is recommended to continue using that as well.

Magnesium is best taken before bedtime, but it can also be taken at other times, for example at breakfast or in the afternoon.
All the mentioned supplements can be combined with antidepressants (SSRIs, etc.).

The action of statins, a class of cholesterol-lowering drugs, is based on the inhibition of this enzyme, resulting in individuals using these medications having lower coenzyme Q10 levels in muscle tissue and blood. Additionally, ageing, extreme physical exertion, increased alcohol and nicotine consumption, and stress can lead to reduced CoQ10 levels in the body.
For this reason, it is also included in the Multi 50 +.
