Eleutherococcus senticosus, ginseng

Eleutherococcus senticosus is actually not related to Panax ginseng, but is often called "Russian ginseng" or "Siberian ginseng" because the adaptogenic and invigorating effects of this herb are very similar to that of true ginseng.

Sometimes people react particularly sensitively to Panax ginseng. If that is the case, Eleutherococcus can be a good alternative.
