I feel that I have more positive energy and am therefore happy with the product. For me, it also seems to help with my hot flushes. They are fewer in number and less intense. That, alongside the extra energy, is my greatest benefit! I previously tried (the regular) Siberian Ginseng 520 mg; personally, I don't notice much difference between the two products. I find both to be a good addition!
I can focus better, think clearly, and have more energy.

The product itself states 1 capsule per day; on the website, it says 1 to 3 per day. How much Siberian Ginseng can you take per day?
Solgar also states on their site that as a dietary supplement for adults, you may take one to three vegetable capsules daily, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Dear, what is the difference between Siberian and Korean ginseng? What does the dosage say between these two supplements? Why is the Siberian version more often recommended to athletes?
The main difference between Siberian ginseng and Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) is that Korean ginseng has a fleshy root, while Siberian ginseng has a woody root. Siberian ginseng falls under Eleutherococcus senticosus (an ivy family) and is therefore not actually a member of the ginseng family. However, both have good health properties and also share some similar properties. It is said that the Soviet Union years ago wanted to offer its athletes the benefits of ginseng but sought a less expensive version (Panax ginseng).
Dear Sir/Madam, I have a few questions about this product. 1. You mention taking a capsule multiple times a day, but the bottle states 1 cap per day. Does this (once daily) mean it is a 'strong' ginseng product? Considering each capsule contains 300 mg of ginseng, I assumed it actually has a relatively low dosage per capsule. Many products from other suppliers seem to contain 500 mg per capsule. Could you tell me if the ginseng I ordered is relatively low or high in dosage? Lastly, I'm not good at swallowing these vegan caps: may I open them and stir them into soup, yoghurt, or a smoothie? Thank you in advance, have a nice weekend, Yolande
Ginseng supplements can contain either an extract and/or the dried powder of the root. For an extract, the (therapeutic) dosage can range from 100 to 600 mg per day, and for the dried root powder, it can range from 500 to 3000 mg per day. It is difficult to say based on the information provided whether the mentioned products are stronger or not. This is because 500 mg of ginseng can consist of 400 mg extract and 100 mg root powder or 400 mg root powder and 100 mg extract. An extract is highly concentrated and therefore stronger, so a composition of 400 mg extract and 100 mg root powder is therefore stronger than the other way around. The capsules can be opened and mixed with a small amount of food or drink.
Although isoflavones (phytoestrogens) are generally recommended for hot flushes, such as Solgar's Super Concentrated Isoflavones (soya isoflavones, genistein), ginseng is certainly worth a try.
Other nutrients that have a beneficial effect include the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, such as in Omega-3 Double Strength (fish oil, formerly Omega-3 700 mg) and/or the omega-6 fatty acid GLA, such as in Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg (borage oil, 300 mg GLA).
Each of these supplements can be used on their own or in combination with all the others.
