Since becoming vegan, this has become indispensable. I really notice a difference in my energy levels.
Perfectly supplements my B12 deficiency
I have been using these for many years to keep my B12 levels up. With these dissolvable tablets, injections are no longer necessary. They could melt a bit more easily, though. It takes quite a while.
I don't eat animal products, so this is a lifesaver! And they're really tasty!

Bulking agent (mannitol), natural sweetener (xylitol T), emulsifiers (hydroxypropylcellulose, stearic acid), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids), cherry-flavoured aroma, vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin).
Vitamin preparation with cherry flavour.
Let 1 lozenge melt under the tongue per day or as advised.

Vitamin B12 naturally contains cobalt in its chemical structure, regardless of the brand or form. Therefore, it is not advisable to use a vitamin B12 supplement.

From the perspective of orthomolecular science, a general maintenance dosage of 1000 mcg per day is advised. In cases of very efficient absorption, our body needs only a minuscule amount of vitamin B12 daily. However, if absorption is not optimal (due to medication or age), or if someone does not consume animal products (such as a vegan), it may be beneficial to take much higher doses of B12 than the Recommended Daily Allowance.
Any excess vitamin B12 can be easily excreted by our body. If there is no deficiency, it suffices to dissolve a 1000 mcg tablet once or twice a week. Our body can store vitamin B12 for later use.

It is also possible to give your daughter a good vegan multi-vitamin. For example, the Multi Dag Junior from Vitakruid. This contains 10 mcg of vitamin B12 per 5 ml.
