Magnesium Bisglycinate contains a powerful combination of magnesium bisglycinate, glycine, taurine, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. This formula helps your body reduce fatigue, supports your muscles, and contributes to mental clarity. Whether you exercise, lead a busy life, or often feel tired, this formula supports you in staying balanced.

Additionally, it plays a role in maintaining healthy bones and teeth and in protein synthesis.

Why choose Magnesium Bisglycinate?
With Magnesium Bisglycinate, you’re choosing a form that your body can truly absorb. Thanks to its chelated form (bound to glycine), it remains effective even in an acidic stomach. B6, C, and taurine further enhance both the absorption and efficacy in your body. This way, you get the most out of every dose — without unnecessary additives.

On 01 february 2018 by Customer serviceIt does not necessarily indicate the optimal amount. What is considered optimal varies from person to person and situation to situation. For instance, a professional athlete will have a much higher requirement for certain nutrients (including vitamin B6 and magnesium) than someone who does not exercise. A pregnant woman has a higher need for certain substances (such as iron, folic acid, and iodine) than a non-pregnant woman.
The RDA values should therefore be seen as general guidelines.
For some vitamins and minerals, in addition to the RDA value, there is also an official safe upper limit, while for others, such a limit has not been established.
500% of the RDA is therefore not unusual. For some nutrients, such as vitamin B12, dosages of up to 50,000% of the RDA are not uncommon. For other nutrients, such as vitamin A, dietary supplements typically contain only about 100 to 150% of the RDA, because higher dosages of the vitamin can be dangerous.
The Magnesium Bisglycinate contains vitamin B6 in the coenzyme form of P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate). No cases of accumulation and neuropathy have been reported with this form of B6. There is an obvious explanation for this: this form of B6 is already in the converted form, so the body can use it directly and eliminate it if necessary. In contrast, the regular form of B6 (Pyridoxine HCl) must first be converted in the body, and if that process does not happen efficiently enough, then B6 can start to accumulate. P5P is therefore considered a safer alternative to regular B6 and is increasingly used in supplements.

Which magnesium is best to take for menopause symptoms such as fatigue and stiff, tense muscles?
On 19 march 2023 by Customer serviceThe best choice is a magnesium supplement with a wide application. Therefore, a magnesium in various forms, such as magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium taurate, magnesium citrate, and magnesium malate, like our super magnesium. Magnesium malate and citrate play a role in maintaining flexible and strong muscles and can help with fatigue. Magnesium bisglycinate and taurate are beneficial for those in need of mental balance. The binding to an amino acid (glycine and taurine) allows magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium taurate to effectively cross the blood-brain barrier. This makes this form of magnesium an excellent choice for all applications within brain function. It contributes to normal psychological functioning and is good for the nervous system.
On 20 november 2017 by Customer serviceThe bisglycinate form of magnesium is absorbed more efficiently in, among other places, the brain. Furthermore, this formula contains multiple nutrients that support absorption and effectiveness.
One thing to keep in mind is that the dose per daily serving is lower. Two capsules provide a total of 100 mg of elemental magnesium, while Magnesium Citrate tablets provide 400 mg of elemental magnesium per two tablets. This is partly because magnesium citrate is much more compact, and partly because magnesium bisglycinate is in vegicaps, which hold less than tablets.
Both have their advantages. If you are particularly interested in the influence on the brain (alertness, reaction time, mental energy, mood), then the bisglycinate variant is preferred. If you are mainly interested in compensating for the loss of large amounts of magnesium (as in endurance sports), then you might choose the citrate variant.
Of course, you can try both for a period to see which one suits you best.
On 06 june 2017 by Customer serviceThe percentages refer to the Recommended Daily Amount (RDA). These are advisory dosages, not maximum dosages or even optimal dosages. Vitamin B6 is a very important nutrient. Both an excess and a deficiency can cause physical complaints.
In this product, vitamin B6 has been added to support the functioning of magnesium. Vitamin B6 and magnesium work together in various processes within the body.
