1-3 years: 400 mg per day
4-8 years: 650 mg per day
9-13 years: 1200 mg per day
14-18 years: 1800 mg per day
For ages 9 and above, it is possible to use this Vitamin C 1000mg.

Can I break/split these tablets? I’m having quite a bit of trouble with the size of the tablet.

However, there is also ready-to-use vitamin C powder available. This is more practical and comparatively cost-effective. For instance, Solgar offers Vitamin C Crystals.
