I have cracked corners of the mouth and ulcers on the tongue again. I read that folic acid was good for this, is that correct?

On 09 october 2019 by Customer serviceYes, a 12-year-old can use this supplement without concern. The dosage (400 mcg) is not an issue, and if a deficiency has recently been identified, he may even take a double dose for a few weeks.
In the long term, it is advisable that he obtains all his folic acid from leafy greens and other sources of folate. A healthy, varied diet provides sufficient folic acid.
