A friend of mine recommended this product to me. I always took 2 magnesium supplements before going to sleep, but this one has an extra herb that provides additional support. I'm quite pleased with it. I do have the feeling that it works :).
Good product and a lovely combination of these two minerals/herbs.
Magnesium plus worked almost instantly. I have more energy. I will definitely continue using it.

Ashwagandha, also known as the 'Indian ginseng', has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian herbal medicine. Like magnesium, it is beneficial for a good mental balance. Moreover, these ingredients support a normal concentration ability and memory.

magnesium (-glycerophosphate) 150 mg (40% RI*)
Herbs - plant (components)
Withania Somnifera extract (ashwagandha) (2.5% withanolides) 150 mg
*RI = Reference Intake
Ingredients
magnesium glycerophosphate, beef gelatin, Withania somnifera extract, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose).
Take two capsules per day, unless otherwise advised.
If desired, the capsules may be opened. The powder can then be mixed with some yogurt, custard or sandwich spread.
Preferably take during or after a meal.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
Do not use during pregnancy (desire) or breastfeeding.
Store dry and at room temperature, out of reach of children.
A dietary supplement cannot replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Why exactly is it that this should not be used when planning a pregnancy? I have been prescribed this product, but I am also planning a pregnancy. I don't want to take something that might not be good for that, even though she said it wouldn't do any harm... (obviously, stop upon pregnancy)
On 24 november 2021 by Customer serviceThis product should not be used during pregnancy because it contains Ashwagandha. There is insufficient research on the safety of this herb during pregnancy. You can use the standard magnesium citrate from Orthica as an alternative.

Ashwagandha can be taken without concern during the first few days of an unrecognised pregnancy. Just make sure to stop as soon as you know you are pregnant.
You can continue to use Magnesium throughout the entire pregnancy, preferably in combination with a pregnancy multivitamin.
