Good product Only take it when necessary
Since I've been using these pills, I feel less fatigued. The cloud in my head has lifted.
It's nice that you only need to take one pill a day. The capsules are a bit on the large side though.
Wow, what great pills. Finally, pills that don't sit heavily on the stomach. A delightful and painless way to take in iron. I would recommend these pills to anyone with iron deficiency. These pills are great for supplementation.
This product contains iron in the form of iron bisglycinate. Each iron particle is powerfully bound (chelated) to two (bis) molecules of the amino acid glycine. The general term for such a compound is amino acid chelate or amino acid chelated mineral. The word 'chelate' comes from the Greek meaning 'claw'.
This form has been chosen because it is gentle on the stomach (which is not the case with most iron compounds) and because its bioavailability is particularly good. Additionally, the formula is enhanced with vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid to further promote iron absorption. The recommended daily amount of iron for pregnant women is approximately 27 mg, so 25 mg falls within a safe range. Do you already have a pregnancy supplement that contains iron? Then it's wise to check that you're not consuming too much. If in doubt, always consult your midwife or doctor.
Can you sprinkle this pill over food or something? Or does it have too strong an iron taste?
On 02 november 2023 by Customer serviceYou can indeed do that, but it certainly won't enhance the taste of your food. It has a strong flavour; for some, it's manageable, but for others, it isn't. You could mix it with a bit of orange juice, for example.
