Works superbly well
I combine them with the multicomplex private label and Adam. Alternately, and very occasionally none at all. (My own logic suggests that if it is healthy to alternate with food and exercise, then the same applies to the intake of vitamins.) The zinc methionine copper after or just before the evening meal. This, combined with regular abdominal exercises, has made me feel increasingly fit! I truly believe in it!

The nutrition centre advises a safe upper limit of 25 mg per day (18 years and older). Now, each capsule of this product contains 30 mg. That is 5 mg higher than this safe upper limit. Wouldn't it be wiser to take a product like this only every other day?

High zinc methionine (higher than 25 mg) is primarily used as a short course to support immunity or in cases of deficiency. It is important that copper is also included in the product, as long-term use of high zinc can affect the copper status in the body.
I've recently purchased this supplement from Vitakruid, but I've read that women who take the contraceptive pill have elevated copper levels. Additionally, I heard that copper isn't really necessary because we already get enough through food and copper water pipes. Could it be harmful (am I getting too much copper) if I start taking this supplement now?

I suffer from blemishes and I heard that zinc could help with that and that zinc methionine is the best form. Is that correct? Should I go for these pills or would you recommend something else? My next question is whether I can take these easily, as I find it difficult to swallow pills and I am afraid these might not be suitable for me. Due to my anaemia, I use extra iron in liquid form; can I take that alongside the zinc pills? Thank you very much.
On 06 january 2019 by Customer serviceZinc methionine is well absorbed (comparable to zinc citrate, zinc picolinate, and zinc bisglycinate), and this product provides a good dose, namely 30 mg, and is supplemented with copper. An excellent choice indeed.
These are not large capsules, but if it is still an issue, you can open the capsule and mix the powder with something.
Using it concurrently with an iron drink is perfectly fine.
Zinc (and copper) plays an important role in skin metabolism. Pimples can have various causes, but it is worth trying to take extra zinc for a few months. This package contains enough capsules for three months of use. That is ample time to determine if this brings you any improvement.
