I was wondering if you are allowed to open these capsules to mix the contents into your breakfast (for example, in muesli with almond milk), or if this has any effects on the efficacy / is not good for your stomach?
On 23 august 2019 by Customer serviceThat's perfectly fine. The capsule consists of two halves that can be pulled apart with a twisting motion.
It is best to mix the contents with a small amount of almond milk, not a whole glass. Or, for example, a tablespoon of yoghurt, custard, or applesauce. It is easier to swallow one unpleasant-tasting mouthful of this than a larger quantity.
For the same reason, I would not mix it with muesli. Not that this would be detrimental to the efficacy, but you would then have to chew through very unpleasant-tasting muesli. Better to use a thick liquid substance that you can swallow without chewing.
There are also multivitamins available as ready-made powder, such as the Every Day Powder. This is relatively more cost-effective (as with capsules you are also paying for the encapsulation).
