My daughter is often ill and also often ill for a long time. Can I give her this when she is already sick? Will she get better faster? How long can I use it exactly? Is it even suitable for a child of 1 year?
On 13 december 2024 by Customer serviceOrganic Echinacea is not suitable for children of 1 year. The product contains 45% grain alcohol and furthermore, we advise echinacea only from the age of 2. To support the immune system, you may give your child extra vitamin C and D. A product suitable for children from 1 year is Baby Plex from Animal Parade. A multivitamin in powder form is also an option. The Elke Dag Powder from Vitals is also suitable for children from 1 year and provides the entire spectrum of vitamins and minerals in a well-absorbable form:

There is little point in taking echinacea throughout the entire autumn and winter, as the body quickly becomes accustomed to it, rendering it ineffective.
Essential for the normal functioning of the immune system are nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, and several other vitamins and minerals. Therefore, it is advisable to continue providing those substances daily and to administer an echinacea supplement only when it is acutely needed.
From the same brand, the Viridikid multivitamin and Viridikid vitamin D for children are recommended (both combined) potentially supplemented with the Animal Parade Vitamin C chewable tablets.
