On 28 april 2016 by Customer serviceThe New Care multi actually provides more than enough B vitamins, so in the long run, it is unnecessary to continue combining it with the B-100. Although B vitamins are indeed useful in stressful situations, it is not the case that mega-doses are mega-relaxing. For most B vitamins, 25 to 50 mg per day is already more than sufficient. Instead of a new pack of B-100, you might be better off choosing rhodiola and/or Valerian Extract. Especially for restlessness, anxiety, and panic attacks, valerian is actually the first choice. Valerian acts on the GABA-A receptors of the nervous system and has a similar effect to Valium (although valerian is much milder and therefore also safer).

On 11 november 2015 by Customer serviceSome individuals find the effect of rhodiola to be too stimulating (they become temporarily hyper). For them, it is better to take the capsules with a meal. Others find this 'boost' desirable and pleasant, so they can take the capsule on an empty stomach without issue.
This is also true for many other herbs, such as valerian. On an empty stomach, it can provide a deeply relaxing effect within about twenty minutes. On a full stomach, this effect is less immediate and intense, but it lasts longer.
Can Rhodiola be used in combination with contraceptives (Microgynon 30)? Can Rhodiola affect the effectiveness of contraceptives?
