I stopped using it for a few months, but since I've started using this product again two weeks ago, I've noticed an immediate difference. I feel cheerful and upbeat, and I no longer experience hormonal fluctuations. This has also been the case during my monthly period.
I am so happy with this product, fewer mood swings and I feel much happier during my period. I take the product every day.
Thanks to the One a Day GLA capsules, I no longer experience severe mood swings before and during my menstruation. A top product!

Good afternoon, I am 51 years old and my last menstruation was 5 years ago. I have embraced menopause as I suffered greatly from PMS. Now I still occasionally experience hot flashes during the day, but I feel very warm at night continuously, I still experience mood swings, and I sleep very poorly. When this will pass, I have no idea. In 2018, I was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus, a chronic skin condition. I read online that it is advisable to take vitE 268mg in combination with calcium pantothenate. I have been doing this since then. I have no idea if it works; I don't notice any difference. Additionally, I take daily: vitD3, vitC ester 1000mg, isoflavones, one day GLA, 2 fish oils, and magnesium. Everything from Solgar or Veridian. And daily, for years, MSM powder from Vitals. What is your view on this? What is your advice? I read, for instance, that I might benefit from vitK2. Furthermore, I have recently been very ill (shingles). I do not understand why this has happened, and neither does my GP. People my age generally do not get this unless they have a low immune system due to stress, for example. I currently have a lot of stress in my life and I am actively trying to address it (for years now), such as swimming, walking, going to bed on time, getting up on time, hardly any alcohol, no coffee, no smoking, and eating healthily/organically. You understand, I do not comprehend why I am not fitter/happier/healthier... I hope for your advice. Thank you very much in advance.
The mentioned supplements can be safely combined.
Better than the One-a-day GLA (120 mg GLA per capsule) is Solgar's Super Star Flower Oil (300 mg GLA per capsule).
Given the stress, fatigue, and gloominess, you could try Solgar's Rhodiola Root Extract for one or two months. Rhodiola also has a positive effect on sleep, although it is advisable not to take rhodiola in the evening. It is better to take it in the morning and/or early afternoon.
Vitamin K2 is important for bone density and is indeed recommended for women in and after menopause. From Solgar, that would be the Vitamin K-2 100 mcg.
I cannot confirm whether it is beneficial to continue using Calcium Pantothenate and 268 mg vitamin E, or the MSM, but there is nothing against it.
If you are particularly interested in GLA, there is also another option, namely a newer product from Solgar, the Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg (borage oil, 300 mg GLA). This is dosed twice as high as the One-a-Day GLA.
Regarding EPA and DHA, there are also higher dosed variants, such as the Omega-3 Double Strength (fish oil, formerly Omega-3 700 mg).
Although the higher dosed products have a higher price per capsule, they are relatively more economical.
Spots are almost never caused solely by hormonal fluctuations. A relative deficiency of zinc and excessive use of warm and particularly hot water can also play a role (especially spots on the upper back and chest are often the result of showering for too long, too often, and/or too hot).
