My husband uses Losartan potassium for his blood pressure and Metformin for his type 2 diabetes. Is it permissible to use NAC alongside these?

Therefore, it is always important to inform your treating physician and seek advice when using the NAC supplement alongside your Losartan medication.

On 20 august 2021 by Customer serviceNAC (N-acetyl cysteine) is a precursor of glutathione. S-Acetyl L-Glutathione is a very pure and active form of glutathione. It is better absorbed than taking glutathione alone. You can use both NAC and S-Acetyl L-Glutathione for different health purposes. However, when using both products, it is advised to take one capsule of each once a day.
The advice for using only N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is 1 to 2 capsules per day, and the advice for using only S-Acetyl L-Glutathione is 1 to 3 capsules per day.
