For children aged 4 to 10 years, the recommended daily amount of vitamin D is 10 mcg. This means you should give less than 0.5 millilitres per day.

However, please note that this liquid vitamin D is quite potent, with 25 µg (1000 IU) per serving. For children under 7 years old, a lower dosage of 10 µg (400 IU) of vitamin D per day is usually recommended.
