FLORAVITAL is a liquid iron elixir enriched with vegetable extracts
and fruit concentrates.
FLORAVITAL contains a highly absorbable form of iron (iron-2-gluconate) and also provides essential nutrients such as B vitamins.
The iron contributes to the reduction of fatigue. Vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12 support energy metabolism, and vitamin C enhances iron absorption. Additionally, vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
FLORAVITAL is similar to the FLORADIX Iron Elixir, but it is gluten-free and has a slightly higher iron content (19.2 mg per 20 ml instead of 15 mg).

It's wonderful that Vitmaninstore also offers the yeast-free version. The version with yeast, called Floradix, is available everywhere, but Floravital, without yeast, is rare. Yeast can cause serious issues for many (candidiasis/fungal infections), often without them knowing the culprit. I can't tolerate yeast nor iron tablets (sensitive stomach), so I'm doubly pleased with Floravital <3
My son is a poor eater and he hadn't been feeling well for a while, so I purchased a bottle. He took it willingly and I can really see the difference! I also take it and feel noticeably fitter after just one bottle. Definitely a recommendation!

Full composition: Aqueous herbal extract (54%) of: carrot (daucus carota), nettle leaf (urtica dioica), spinach leaf (spinacia oleracea), couch grass root (agropyron repens), fennel fruit (foenicum vultare), brown algae thallus (macrocystis pyrifera), hibiscus flower (hibiscus sabdariffa).
Mix of fruit juice concentrates (29.4%) of: pear, grape, blackcurrant juice, water, blackberry, cherry, orange, beetroot, lemon, carob extract, apple. Aqueous yeast extract from rosehip (rosa canina)(4% vitamin C), iron(II)gluconate, WHEAT germ extract, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), natural flavours, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin sodium phosphate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Floravital is available in a bottle of 250 and 500 ml.
Adults and children from 12 years:
2 x daily 10 ml half an hour before meals.
Children 6 – 12 years: 1 x daily 10 ml
Children 3 – 5 years: 1 x daily 5 ml
Vitamin B6:
- Per daily dose, a maximum of 3 mg of vitamin B6: This dietary supplement is not suitable for children under 1 year old.

My ferritin levels are too low even after taking the Floradex tablets. I would like to try this product now. Can it be combined with HIGH FIVE™ Multivitamin & Mineral Formula from Viridian? Additionally, I am also using the Royal Green Omega 3 Fish Oil and Vitamin D-3 25 µg/1000 IU (vitamin D from wool fat) from Solgar.

Is this drink suitable for vegans?
On 13 december 2024 by Customer serviceYes, this product is entirely plant-based and suitable for vegans. However, it is important to realise that the dosage (15 mg of iron per daily serving) is not specifically intended for vegans. Even with the consumption of this drink, it remains possible to develop an iron deficiency, and if a deficiency has been diagnosed by a doctor, then 15 mg of iron is not sufficient to address this deficiency. In such cases, it is advisable to temporarily combine Floradix with, for example, the Gentle Iron, so that the total amount of iron reaches 35 mg.
Our Vegan Multi provides 18 mg of iron per daily serving (2 capsules).
On 29 august 2016 by Customer serviceIf necessary (as long as there is a deficiency), you can give him 5 ml per day, which is the portion normally recommended for children aged 3 years and older. This provides approximately 5 mg of iron.
Please note that a bottle, once opened, is shelf-stable in the refrigerator for about 30 days. At a dose of 5 ml per day, a 250 ml bottle will provide 50 servings. It is therefore advisable to share the bottle with yourself and/or another family member.
