Splendid product.
I used to take iron tablets and they gave me terrible heartburn. My GP recommended Floradix because I follow a vegan lifestyle. No more heartburn and feeling less tired.
Very nice product, increases iron levels without stomach or intestinal issues. However, it does discolour the teeth. So, rinsing with mouthwash after use is recommended.
Floradix works well and efficiently. It doesn't taste particularly nice, but when drunk cold, I find it quite manageable.
A good supplement for iron deficiency. It should only be taken half an hour before a meal. I don't find the taste unpleasant, but I can imagine that some people might need to get used to it. It's easy to dose. In short, it's excellent for replenishing iron deficiency and is, of course, natural!
Floradix Iron Elixir is suitable for anyone who could use support for vitality, energy, and resistance: for example, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, growing children, the elderly, or athletes.

Mix of fruit juice concentrates (29.4%): pear, grape, blackcurrant juice, water, blackberry, cherry, orange, beetroot, lemon, carob extract, apple. Aqueous yeast extract, honey, aqueous extracts from rosehip (Rosa canina) (with 4% vit. C), Iron(II)gluconate, WHEAT GERM EXTRACT (gluten), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), natural flavours, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin sodium phosphate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Adults and children from 12 years:
2 x daily 10 ml half an hour before meals.
Children 6 – 12 years: 1 x daily 10 ml
Children 3 – 5 years: 1 x daily 5 ml (Note: at this daily dosage, it takes 50 days to finish a 250 ml bottle, while the product is only shelf-stable for 30 days in the refrigerator after opening; of course, this is not a problem if you also use the product yourself.)
Do not take with black tea, coffee, or dairy products, as this significantly reduces iron absorption!
Vitamin C enhances iron absorption, so taking it with a glass of fresh fruit juice is ideal.
Store in the refrigerator after opening. The elixir will then remain usable for 4 weeks.

Combining these supplements results in a higher iron intake than necessary, which may cause side effects. Consult your doctor or midwife before using both supplements to determine if a higher dosage is needed.
Hello, I recently heard that vitamin B6 is not okay to take? Now, Floradix also contains vitamin B6. Is this product safe for my 17-year-old daughter with an iron deficiency? She has also received iron tablets from the GP and is nearing the end of her prescribed tablets. But as support during heavy menstruation, I want to give her this product. However, the amount of vitamin B6 in Floradix Iron Elixir is safe. The product contains 0.8 mg of vitamin B6 per daily dosage (20 ml). This is within the safe upper limit of 25 mg per day for adults as established by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The amount in this product is 48% of the daily reference intake.
Floradix Iron Elixir can be a good supplement to maintain iron levels, especially during menstruation. It contains a form of iron that is well absorbed and easily digested, as well as important nutrients such as B vitamins.
Is this suitable for resolving anaemia?
