I've been taking these for about 10 years and they have been working brilliantly for me.
Works better for me than tablets
Easy to use. I initially tried the drink, but it stained my teeth. This is the only iron product that doesn't give me a bloated stomach. I first tried gentle iron, but unfortunately, it wasn't gentle enough for my stomach and intestines. This one is. You do need to remember to take it three times a day, half an hour before meals. I've just had my blood tested and now I hope these tablets will provide enough iron to achieve and maintain a healthy level (I had a significant deficiency).

In addition to the ingredients listed, Floradix tablets also contain extract of nettle, couch grass root, spinach leaf, centaury, fennel, algae, and rosehip. The iron-containing yeast is plant-based, enzyme-free, and derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Is it permissible to take Floradix tablets by taking 2 tablets once a day? Ideally, I would like to take 1 tablet once a day as a maintenance dose because I recently received a prescription from my GP for 1 tablet of 200 mg iron once a day.
On 30 october 2024 by Customer serviceYes, you can take the Floradix Iron Tablets all at once. The recommended dosage is usually two tablets per day, but if you prefer to take one tablet per day as a maintenance dose, that should be possible as well.
However, please note that the amount of iron in one Floradix tablet is less than in the tablets you previously received from your GP. Each Floradix tablet contains 7 mg of iron, in contrast to the 200 mg in the tablets you received from your GP.
I have a chronic bowel disease. Is it better to take the liquid version or the tablets?

Which is better/more responsible, the liquid version or the tablets?

In addition, the tablets also contain folic acid, whereas the liquid variant does not. The advantage of the liquid variant is that you can easily increase the dosage. One variant is not necessarily better than the other.
Why does it state on one hand that you can use Floradix during pregnancy/breastfeeding, but there is also a warning for the ingredient nettle which says you should NOT use it during pregnancy/breastfeeding?
