As far as I can tell, this is a good product. It's a shame that the stock fluctuates so much; one moment there's plenty in stock and the next it's sold out. Very annoying, especially when you want to take advantage of the offer.
Royal Green Omega-3 Fish Oil
For Royal Green, purity and high concentration are the two most important aspects of fish oil. No expense is spared when it comes to purity. Fish in the ocean consists of triglycerides. This is the natural form. The raw fish oil contains approximately 18% EPA and 12% DHA (Omega-3). To achieve a higher concentration, the Omega-3 must be separated from its so-called natural base: glycerol. This separation is called 'esterification', and the EPA and DHA become so-called Ethyl Esters. This is the form that has a considerable distance from the natural fish oil source in which the glycerol was still present. Many brands only offer these Ethyl Esters. Royal Green does it differently and has patented extra steps for this, where the glycerol is reconnected with the concentrated EPA & DHA. This process is called 'enzymatic binding', where natural enzymes are used to bind the EPA & DHA back to the natural base glycerol. Does fish oil also contain vitamin D and if so, in what quantity? In other words, do you need to take additional vitamin D alongside fish oil?
