Great product. Fewer complaints since I've been using this.
I was suffering from bacterial vaginosis and had to take a course of antibiotics because normaflor hadn’t helped (the smell disappeared but the bacteria didn’t). I took various precautions to prevent a yeast infection from the antibiotics: 2 capsules of orthiflor fem on an empty stomach before going to bed during and now for over a week after the course, ate yoghurt daily and minimised sugar intake, haven’t drunk alcohol for almost three weeks now, applied organic unscented coconut oil daily in and around the vagina, and inserted a normaflor vaginal tablet daily right after the course. I also haven’t had my period during this time, so I didn’t use tampons and I never use panty liners anyway. I washed my underwear in hot water, didn’t wear tight trousers, and maintained normal hygiene (only washing with water). Unfortunately, just three days after the antibiotic course, I got a very severe yeast infection. So I have to go to the GP :(

I've heard that Super Microflor probiotics are also good.. what is the difference between these and Orthiflor Fem and which is best recommended?

The Orthiflor Fem is better compared to our Microflor Intiem, a balanced mix of 3 bacterial strains for women, with a total of 7.5 billion viable bacteria (CFU) per capsule. Advice: 1 capsule per day. The Orthiflor Fem contains 4 bacterial strains, advice 1-2 capsules per day.
The Super Microflor contains 8 different bacterial strains, is more strongly dosed than our Microflor Probiotica, and can be used for other complaints. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to provide extensive advice on this site due to the Claims Regulation Act.
Can I use Orthiflor Fem in combination with Super Microflor?
On 24 september 2020 by Customer serviceOrthiflor Fem can be used together with Super Microflor. However, Super Microflor also contains the bacterial strains found in Orthiflor Fem, and in higher doses. So, if you were to combine both products, it would be somewhat redundant.
