Ingredients
sweetener (xylitol), bacterial culture, anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate), blackcurrant flavour, vitamin.
The recommended dosage is 1 chewable tablet per day. Preferably take on an empty stomach.
The maximum dosage is 2 chewable tablets per day, unless otherwise advised. Suitable for children aged 3 and above. Contains natural sweetener. Contains a desiccant sachet for quality assurance, not suitable for consumption.
Excessive use may have a laxative effect.
Store dry, sealed, and at room temperature.

I am looking for probiotics for my sons aged 4 and 7. I was considering the chewable tablets from Orthica, but I have now seen the answer to a question that was asked earlier. It states that the powder contains much more. However, the powder indicates that it is suitable for up to about 6 years old. Which probiotics would be best for me to give?
On 15 december 2019 by Customer serviceThe Dino Orthiflor Junior powder is also suitable for children aged 6 to 10 years. Even adults could use it. The dosage does not necessarily need to be increased (2 grams is also a good maintenance dose for 7-year-olds), unless there is a temporary need for extra support.
From the brand Animal Parade, there are also chewable tablets available with a higher dosage, namely the Acidophi Kidz chewable tablets. These provide the same amount of bacteria (1 billion) per tablet as is provided by 2 grams of Orthiflor powder.
Do the Orthiflor chewable tablets have exactly the same effect as the powder, or are they two different products? This is for my five-year-old son.
On 10 april 2019 by Customer serviceAlthough both products consist of six bacterial strains and can be used for the same purposes, a serving of powder delivers 1 billion bacteria, while each chewable tablet contains only 40 million, or 0.04 billion. This is therefore a much lower dosage. It is fine for daily maintenance but less suitable for an intensive course. For a stronger effect, it is better to provide the powdered variant.
