A very small and fine pill that works
These were recommended to me by an orthomolecular therapist because they contain no additives. The high dosage ensures that my deficiencies can be addressed. The very small capsules are very easy to swallow.
It is a lovely product, Mini capsules (pearl-shaped) even my children find them easy to take. If a larger package were available, I would certainly recommend it for family use.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of strong bones. It increases the absorption of calcium in the bones and contributes to normal calcium levels in the blood. Additionally, it has a positive influence on the immune system, contributes to the process of cell renewal, and plays a role in maintaining strong muscles.
Vitamin D3 increases vitamin D levels. Our vitamin D3 is dissolved in a fat matrix of extra virgin olive oil, which aids in good absorption in the intestine.

Ingredients (descending)
Filler (extra virgin olive oil), capsule shell (gelatin, glycerine, water), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).
Take 1 capsule daily during or shortly after a meal.

We therefore recommend choosing another product such as the Vitamin D3 drops 25 mcg:
Two drops of this can be taken per day.
How many capsules are in this jar?

On 11 july 2016 by Customer serviceLanolin is the most common source of vitamin D. Extracting vitamin D from cod liver oil is a more cumbersome and expensive process, which is why it is much less frequently used in tablets and capsules.
In addition to lanolin and cod liver oil, there is also vitamin D available from plant sources (lichens and specially cultivated mushrooms), but these sources are always clearly stated on the label as a selling point, namely suitable for vegans. An overview of such vitamin D supplements can be found on this page:

The vitamin D from all these sources is chemically identical. Vitamin D3 from cod liver oil is absorbed just as well as vitamin D3 from lanolin or lichens.
