Bonusan Vitamin C-1000 ascorbate complex contains 1000 mg of buffered vitamin C per tablet in three different forms: ascorbates of the minerals magnesium, potassium, and zinc. The mineral ascorbates in this product are in the natural mineral ratio, which is the same as how the minerals occur in the body. Thanks to this combination, Bonusan Vitamin C-1000 ascorbate complex also provides a small amount of magnesium and zinc. These minerals complement the action of vitamin C. Magnesium contributes (just like vitamin C) to the reduction of fatigue and tiredness and helps release energy from food. Like vitamin C, magnesium contributes to learning performance, a clear mind, mental resilience, concentration, and is good for mood and memory. Zinc is a pleasant addition because it contributes to supporting a healthy acid-base balance.

Additionally, the ascorbate complex contains 75 mg of citrus bioflavonoids per tablet. Bioflavonoids naturally occur in vitamin C-rich foods. By adding them, we stay close to nature. This ensures that your body can absorb the vitamin C effectively.

Magnesium ascorbate, potassium ascorbate, citrus bioflavonoids, filler (HPC (cellulose)), calcium ascorbate, zinc ascorbate, anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), glazing agent (HPMC, MCT oil).

Take 1 to 2 tablets daily during or shortly after a meal. To achieve balanced absorption, it is important to spread vitamin C intake as much as possible throughout the day. If the intake of vitamin C exceeds the requirement, the excess vitamin C remains in the large intestine and is therefore not absorbed. Vitamin C attracts water here and thus causes (osmotic) diarrhoea ('bowel tolerance'). When the dosage is reduced, this phenomenon disappears.
