Especially for greater ease of use, we have included Magnesan Forte plus powder in our range. Magnesium in powder form is convenient, for instance, if you wish to dose higher or if you have difficulty swallowing tablets.

The powder dissolves easily in water or fruit juice and has a pleasant lemon flavour. At the start of the day, for example, a shaker or carafe can be filled, which can be drunk throughout the day. One level scoop provides 114 milligrams of elemental magnesium. You can dose as needed.

For quality reasons, we only use fully reacted magnesium bisglycinate in the production of our Magnesan Forte plus. By 'fully reacted', we mean that this supplement is free from a by-product that occurs during the preparation of bisglycinates: magnesium oxide. Magnesium oxide is not absorbed by the body and therefore adds nothing to a magnesium supplement. A bisglycinate is a compound (chelate) of the mineral magnesium with two amino acids, glycine. This is why Magnesan Forte plus is so well absorbed.

Magnesium is involved in more than 300 processes in the body. It is scientifically proven that magnesium contributes to a good electrolyte balance, normal energy metabolism, normal muscle function, normal protein synthesis, the normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function, and is important for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Additionally, magnesium plays a role in the cell division process.

Vitamin B6 contributes to a good energy supply in the muscles and the reduction of fatigue and tiredness. The B6 in Magnesan Forte plus powder is in the active form: pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P). This form is absorbed even better than ordinary B6. Moreover, it is believed that P5P does not accumulate, allowing Magnesan Forte plus powder to be well combined with other supplements. The important synergists glycine and taurine are also added.
