Is this shampoo gluten-free? And suitable for the CG Curly Girl method?
On 18 december 2025 by Customer serviceThe Weleda Millet Nourishing Shampoo contains no sulphates and no silicones, and can therefore be technically more suitable than regular shampoos within the CG method. However, as it contains fragrance and essential oils, it is not necessarily a ‘CG-proof’ product that will give everyone with curly hair optimal results according to strict CG criteria.
Best, can you also use this shampoo on hair that has been coloured or treated with henna? Free of charge.
On 31 march 2020 by Customer serviceThe shampoos from Weleda cleanse the hair very gently. They contain only plant-based surfactants, including coconut fatty acid glutamate and sugar esters. Weleda has not conducted specific tests on coloured hair. For natural hair colouring, they recommend the Millet Mild Shampoo, and if the hair is dry, the Oat Replenishing Shampoo.
