What was it taken for and did it yield a good result?
On 28 october 2022 by Customer serviceUnfortunately, due to regulations on nutritional and health claims, we are unable to provide information about the effects of this product and its potential uses. However, various studies on the effects of PEA are well-documented. In the 1990s, PEA was discovered by Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini. Since then, numerous studies have been conducted on PEA, gradually revealing more about its mechanism of action. There are over 300 scientific publications on this substance.

I read a section under this product about the certification at PEA. However, I'm not entirely clear if the PEA from VitOrtho also has a certification, or if it would be better to opt for another brand?

On 27 march 2018 by Customer serviceThe certifications not only relate to the purity and bioavailability of the product, but environmental issues also play a role: with OptiPEA and PEApure, the palm oil is sourced from guaranteed sustainable harvesting.
Furthermore, the price differences are somewhat less easy to explain. Some brands have opted for a higher selling price due to higher purchasing costs or other factors. The exact reasons are difficult to ascertain.
The PEA 400 mg palmitoylethanolamide has no certification and is therefore relatively inexpensive.
Our PEA Pure (OptiPEA 400 mg) does have a certification and is comparatively much more affordable than the similar product from Orthica.
