These drops are easily absorbed and the dropper allows for precise dosing.
Only a few drops needed, so the bottle lasts a long time. It has no flavour, so just mix it into the kids' drinks.
Vitals is renowned for its extensive use of natural ingredients and the balance between them to achieve the most effective formulation possible. It is well known that vitamin D3 is best absorbed when taken with a fat (in this case, oil). The dropper allows you to choose your own dosage from 1 (5µg) drop to a maximum of 5 (25µg) drops. This way, every family member can receive the correct dosage. I can only mention one drawback, and that is when the bottle is almost empty. You can no longer draw it up into the dropper, and you must carefully hold the bottle upside down to get a few more doses of 5 drops out.

This product contains approximately 600 drops of 5 mcg of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, derived from sheep's wool fat), enough for 300 doses of 10 mcg for babies and children or 120 doses of 25 mcg for adults. With the handy pipette, it can be easily and accurately dosed. Vitamin D3 in drop form is ideal because it allows for different dosages. This makes the product suitable for the whole family, even for very young children and people who have difficulty swallowing capsules. Additionally, the vitamin D3 dosage can easily be adjusted to the season if desired.

Ergocalciferol is a plant-based form, while cholecalciferol comes from an animal source, but is also produced by humans in the skin under the influence of ultraviolet light, such as sunlight (hence the nickname 'sunshine vitamin'). These forms of vitamin D are converted in the liver into the metabolite calcidiol (25-hydroxyvitamin D). If a product contains vitamin D in the form of D3, and it is not mentioned that the D3 comes from fish liver or a plant source, you can assume that it is D3 from wool fat. This is by far the most commonly used source of vitamin D3.
