Just started with this probiotic for my daughter. Already noticing that she suffers less from constipation.
Absolutely delighted with this purchase! I find the drops effective, and even my 1.5-year-old daughter has started using them.
Handy that it is liquid (our little boy is 9 weeks old) and it does its job. I have the impression that our little boy finds it easier [.....] because of this and has less [.....].

Microbiol Child is a unique probiotic in drop form, specially developed for babies from birth and young children up to 4 years old. Free from flavourings or other unnecessary additives. Ideal to apply to the nipple during breastfeeding, to add to the bottle feed, or simply to give on a spoon. Contains 1 billion cfu (colony forming units, that is: the number of viable bacteria capable of multiplying and forming a colony) of the bacterial strain Bifidobacterium, BB-12.
Producer Chr. Hansen
Chr. Hansen is the producer of this bacterial strain and has been responsible for much research into this specific strain (also in babies). Bifidobacterium, BB-12 is supported by 370 scientific publications and 180 human studies, making it the best-supported Bifidobacterium strain. This is quite unique and very important! One bacterial strain (indicated by a suffix such as BB-12) is not the same as another, even if they belong to the same genus (in this case Bifidobacterium) and the same species (Bifidobacterium lactis). Therefore, strain-specific research is especially telling.
Safety and ease of use
The requirements for a probiotic specially intended for babies and young children are very high. Safety and ease of use play an even greater role here than in products for adults. Specific studies have been conducted with Bifidobacterium, BB-12 to demonstrate the safety of this strain in young children. It has been shown that BB-12 is completely safe in a product for babies and young children and is excellently tolerated. The drops are also very easy to use.
About the name Microbiol
The name Microbiol is derived from 'microbiome'. This is the entirety of all microorganisms that live on and in our body, such as the gut flora. These are the bacteria that are part of our gastrointestinal tract from birth. These include bifidobacteria.

Contains approximately 100 drops (sufficient for about 16 days of use).
Ingredients:
Filler: sunflower oil, Bifidobacterium lactis, antioxidant: dl-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), acidity regulator: citric acid.
Does not contain:
Gluten, lactose, cow's milk protein, soy, GMO, preservatives, and synthetic fragrances, colours, and flavourings.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Shake well before each use to mix the powder with the oil as much as possible. Give 6 drops per day on a spoon or mixed with (hand-warm) milk or other food, or as advised.
During the use of an antibiotic, it is advisable to allow at least 2 hours between the intake of Microbiol Child and the antibiotic.

Hello! Our 10-week-old daughter has been having 6 drops in one bottle once a day for the past week and a half. However, she still experiences severe cramps in the evenings. When is the best time to add the drops? And is it better to have 6 in one bottle or spread them out over the bottles throughout the day? Thank you!

Alternatively, you could try adding 3 drops to her morning bottle and 3 to her last bottle of the day. If the cramps remain very severe, we recommend contacting your GP to rule out any allergies.
During my pregnancy, I was already using this product. My baby is now 1 week old. I'm taking the 6 drops so she receives them through breastfeeding. Or should I give it to her directly?
