Great addition
Our silicon intake is often too low. The average daily intake of this mineral among the Western population ranges between 20 and 50 milligrams. An additional issue is that silicon present in food is on average absorbed only 40.9%.

Certain foods do contain high levels of this wonder mineral, such as bananas. However, the dilemma with many of these food sources is the form of silicon present, which is not absorbed by our bodies. A well-absorbable silicon supplement is therefore a welcome addition to your diet!

Exceptionally bioavailable
SilSolutions consists exclusively of organic silicon. The use of this form of silicon can be scientifically substantiated. In the 2009 study by Sripanyakorn et al., the absorption of silicon from various food and supplement sources was compared. This study shows that the absorption of organic silicon is significantly higher than the absorption of other silicon forms.

Moreover, the organic form is absorbed into the bloodstream the fastest, with a peak in blood serum visible after just 30 minutes. The graph below shows that organic silicon was better absorbed into the blood compared to, for example, choline-stabilised orthosilicic acid.

Liquid form
Hydrolysis is the name of the process in which a chemical compound is split by the uptake of water. Silicon is an element extracted in this way from a solid source. Two molecules are then formed, silicon in the small molecular form bound to the large molecule H2O, or water as it is commonly known.

Supplements in solid form, such as tablets, powder, or capsules, can therefore never contain the well-absorbable silicon in the small molecular form. The associated molecule H2O is simply removed from the compound. And that is why SilSolutions by Vitakruid is only available in the bioavailable, liquid form!

Ease of administration
We supply SilSolutions standard with a handy measuring cup. This plastic cup is marked with a dosing line every five millilitres, with a maximum of 30 millilitres. Your SilSolutions dosage is therefore always precise to the millilitre!

Ingredients
Purified water, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Silicon (elemental), citric acid (acidity regulator), natural strawberry flavour (flavouring), steviol glycosides from stevia (natural sweetener), nettle extract (urtica dioica herba). Excipients: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate. SilSolutions contains approximately 3.5 g of elemental silicon per litre.

Take 20 ml per day in the morning on an empty stomach. For optimal effectiveness, wait 20 minutes after intake before consuming food and/or drinks. Shake before use.

Do not let the solution come into contact with metal or glass as the effectiveness of the silicon may be slightly reduced. Once opened, the product retains its efficacy for 3 months. After this, its effectiveness may decrease.
