It gives you strong nails and is good for your skin and hair, but it's not exactly delicious.

I've been using this product for about a year now and I definitely notice a difference! I experience much less hair loss and my hair seems more vibrant. It took about 4-6 months before I noticed anything. So, you need to be patient and take it every day. Unfortunately, the product isn't cheap, but I think it's worth the money.
I genuinely feel that my nails are stronger and growing faster. The taste is fine.
Every morning on an empty stomach, a shot, it tastes quite unpleasant once the bottle is open, but all for a lovely head of hair and skin, right?
Ease of administration
We supply SilSolutions as standard with a handy measuring cup. This plastic cup is marked with a dosing line at every five millilitres, with a maximum of 30 millilitres. Your dosage of SilSolutions is therefore always accurate to the millilitre!
High quantity
SilSolutions from Vitakruid is a high-quality silicon product with no less than 70 mg of elemental silicon per measuring cup (20 ml).
Good supplement
Our silicon intake is often too low. The average daily intake of this mineral among the Western population is between 20 and 50 milligrams. An additional problem is that the silicon present in food is absorbed on average only 40.9%.
Certain foods do contain high levels of this wonder mineral, such as bananas. However, the dilemma with many of these food sources is the form of silicon present, which is not absorbed by our bodies. A well-absorbable silicon supplement is therefore a welcome addition to your diet!
Exceptionally bioavailable
SilSolutions consists solely of organic silicon. We can scientifically substantiate the use of this form of silicon. In the 2009 study by Sripanyakorn et al., the absorption of silicon from various sources of food and supplements was compared. This study shows that the absorption of organic silicon is significantly higher than the absorption of other forms of silicon.
Moreover, the organic form is absorbed into the bloodstream the fastest, with a peak in blood serum visible after just 30 minutes. The graph below shows that organic silicon was better absorbed into the blood compared to, for example, choline-stabilised orthosilicic acid.
Liquid form
Hydrolysis is the name of the process whereby a chemical compound is split with the uptake of water. Silicon is an element that is extracted from a solid source in this way. Two molecules are then formed, silicon in the small molecular form bound to the large molecule H2O, or water as it is commonly known.
Supplements in solid form, such as tablets, powders or capsules, can therefore never contain the well-absorbable silicon in the small molecular form. The related molecule H2O is simply removed from the compound. And that is why SilSolutions from Vitakruid is only available in the bioavailable, liquid form!

Take 20 ml in the measuring cup on an empty stomach in the morning. Do not bring the solution into contact with metal or glass as the availability of the silicon may be slightly reduced.
Safety
Store SilSolutions at room temperature (15-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Do not place in the fridge or near electromagnetic devices!

Could it be that it reacts with magnesium? When I use both supplements on the same day, I experience certain sensations.

If you experience unusual sensations, it's always a good idea to experiment by taking the supplements at different times of the day, or on different days, to see if your reaction changes.
Also, ensure you do not exceed the recommended dosages and remember that it's always important to listen to your body. If the sensations persist or if you have concerns, consider consulting a healthcare professional.

Although nettle can have many health benefits, it is generally not recommended during pregnancy. It's always best to err on the side of caution, especially during pregnancy. Therefore, we advise against using this supplement if you are pregnant or trying to conceive.
