Great product!
Is very effective against {***} due to ADHD medication
works well after exercising
Very fine, helps to prevent cramps in my legs.
I have been using this magnesium for years to help with mood swings and to improve my concentration. The pills are somewhat large, but in this form, the magnesium is best absorbed by your body.
Magnesium is an essential element for humans. It is present in fresh green vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. Healthy adults are advised to take 300-400 mg of magnesium daily. The optimal intake is likely higher, around 6-10 mg/kg body weight.
Magnesium Taurate from Vitakruid has a very high absorbability in this form, which enhances its effectiveness. The addition of vitamin B6 is definitely necessary to ensure the positive effects of both the magnesium and the taurine.

Not really a question: there is too much vitamin B6 in this product. Since 2018, a maximum of 2 mg is allowed. I currently have a significant excess of vitamin B6. I'm only finding out now due to symptoms of heart palpitations.
On 27 june 2023 by Customer serviceIt's unfortunate to hear that you're experiencing heart palpitations and have a significant excess of B6.
However, it's important to note that the reference intake for B6 is 1.4 mg per day, 25 mg per day is considered safe, and the maximum B6 in supplements in the Netherlands is 21 mg. Therefore, there is not too much vitamin B6 in this product.
I've been taking this magnesium for a while, but suddenly I'm confused. How much magnesium is actually in one capsule? The bottle states magnesium (taurate) 60mg; L-Taurine (magnesium taurate) 625 mg. But L-Taurine isn't magnesium, is it? So, would there be 60mg of magnesium in one capsule?
On 02 may 2023 by Customer serviceThese capsules do indeed contain 60 mg of magnesium and 625 mg of L-taurine (magnesium taurate). Magnesium taurate is a compound formed between magnesium and L-taurine.
Are there any reports of possible allergic reactions? Since using magnesium taurate, I've developed a rash (itchy bumps). Kind regards, Heleen Riteco
On 01 may 2023 by Customer serviceIt is unlikely that Magnesium Taurate with P-5-P causes a rash, as neither ingredient is known to have side effects related to skin reactions.
However, rashes can be caused by various factors, such as allergic reactions to certain foods, medications, cosmetics, etc. If you experience a rash while using Magnesium Taurate with P-5-P or any other supplement, please consult your doctor or therapist to identify possible causes and receive appropriate treatment.
Good evening, Is this dietary supplement also suitable for children? And can the capsules be opened to mix, for example, with water? Kind regards
On 09 august 2022 by Customer serviceThis product is suitable for children aged 12 and over. The capsules can be opened, and the contents can be dissolved in water, fruit juice, or yoghurt.
Is it permissible to open the capsule and take it with a little water? And is this also possible with the Gaba capsule from AOV?
On 27 july 2020 by Customer serviceThat's perfectly fine! Capsules can generally be opened and mixed with a bite of food or drink.
