How many mg of EPA and DHA does a woman in menopause need per day to support the health benefits for brain function and cardiovascular health?

Omega 3 is a very delicate oil; it can oxidise within just a few hours and thus become harmful. How is it protected? Can it be delivered frozen? Kind regards, Wilhelmus.
On 20 july 2023 by Customer serviceWith omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil, it is indeed crucial that the product maintains a low* oxidation level (and remains pure) throughout its entire shelf life, and extraction is done without heating.
Therefore, Vitakruid ensures that with each production batch, a so-called certificate of analysis is issued. Only in this way can they guarantee that each jar of Fish Oil Forte is pure, free from oxidation, and properly extracted.
*Unfortunately, oxidation always occurs, albeit at a very low level with Omega-3. However, this does not detract from the health benefits this product can provide.
It is not possible to deliver the product frozen.

On 12 march 2019 by Customer serviceYes, in this product, the omega-3 fatty acids are separated from the crude fish oil and then reattached to glycerine. This results in an exceptionally pure end product, which is also more potent than regular fish oil. These capsules provide no less than 350 mg of EPA and 250 mg of DHA. In standard fish oil, this is typically 180 mg of EPA and 130 mg of DHA.
All fish oil on our website is thoroughly purified and tested for the presence of toxins.
