Buffered Vitamin C Formula
VitakruidOrdinary vitamin C as ascorbic acid is the acidic form and at higher doses, it can irritate the gastrointestinal tract and cause diarrhoea.
Buffered vitamin C, on the other hand, loses its acidic form due to its binding (buffering) with calcium and magnesium, resulting in ascorbate rather than ascorbic acid. We need much less of this to optimise vitamin C absorption and health.

Provides a boost during the dark days when I start to feel a cold coming on or feel less fit!
I've tried several vitamin C supplements, but I always find this one works best. It's also easy to use since it's in capsule form.
Since I heard about this combination, I have definitely noticed that my body absorbs the iron well.
During flu season, I always take one of these a day.
I feel like my immunity has really improved!! So we just keep taking them, 2 a day!

On 24 march 2020 by Customer serviceThe general guideline from Vitaminstore is that a child of 12 years can take an adult dosage of vitamins and minerals. From there, you can calculate backwards: a 4-year-old would take approximately 1/3 of the adult dosage. You can also calculate based on weight: an adult dosage is for someone weighing around 60 kilograms, and from there you can work backwards. Since children can vary significantly in weight and build, it is useful to take that into account. For children under 1 year old, we recommend products specially developed for this age category, such as Baby Plex, which contains not only vitamin C but also other vitamins:
