On 29 september 2026 by Customer serviceThank you for your question. As it’s not yet known when Viridian Folic Acid & Myo-Inositol will be available again, you could choose Lamberts Myo-Inositol powder in combination with Vitaminstore Active Folic Acid as an alternative.
This is a good substitute because Lamberts provides 4,000 mg of myo-inositol per recommended daily dose of 4 grams. Vitaminstore Active Folic Acid also provides 400 µg of active folate (Quatrefolic®) and vitamin B12.
This means you’ll be very close to the Viridian product in terms of the key ingredients and amounts.
For that reason, I would recommend this combination over NOW Inositol 500 mg. With NOW, you would need several capsules to get close to the same amount of myo-inositol, whereas Lamberts delivers 4 grams straight away with one daily serving of the powder.
Please note: Lamberts states that the Myo-Inositol powder should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Therefore, if you get a positive pregnancy test, it’s best to stop using myo-inositol.
How should you take the powder? Does it need to be dissolved in water?
